The poster session takes place in the LISE building
The FAS Laboratory for Integrated Science and Engineering (LISE) was originally commissioned as the "New Physical Sciences Building".
LISE was designed to operate specialized laboratories on a shared use basis and act as a hub of research in the physical sciences.
The building supports a 10000 sq.f. class 100/1000 cleanroom, materials research laboratories, and a basement level dedicated to low-vibration high-resolution imaging. Physically the building connects to several of its neighbors including McKay, Science Center, Lyman, and Cruft with bridges and tunnels.
LISE opened in the summer of 2007. Visitors enjoy the street-level cafe and the rooftop birch tree grove above the cleanroom. |
